 CherISH Secondment Plan

Secondments are a key training feature of the CherISH Doctoral Network, designed to give our students exposure to new environments, methods, and perspectives.

Purpose & Benefits

  • Enable DCs to work in a different institution while staying employed at their home organisation.

  • Encourage interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration within the CherISH consortium.

  • Provide hands-on experience with different technologies, methodologies, and patient contexts.

  • Expand professional networks and foster long-term research partnerships.

Typical Structure

  • Duration: from 8 weeks to 6 months.

  • Hosted by one of our network partners (Beneficiary).

  • Planned to complement the Student’s research objectives and skill development.

Support & Logistics

  • Travel and accommodation costs are covered by the project.

  • Organised in close coordination between the home and host institutions.
